Questa tecnica giunge a noi da civiltà millenarie indoeuropee, civiltà pre – elleniche stanziatesi nell’antica Messapia ( dal greco “TERRA DI MEZZO”, oggi Salento). Queste civiltà da sempre si sono affidate a rimedi vegetali, alle pietre e altri manufatti per scopi medicinali, per intervenire su vibrazioni di energie negative. Il fuoco e il calore sono stati usati da sempre con fini terapeutici. L’insieme di questi elementi danno vita a PETRA MODUS®.
PETRA MODUS® by Marcello Petrucci è il frutto di una lunga ricerca su questa tecnica, un’approfondita analisi sui manufatti che anticamente consentivano queste pratiche. Un lungo percorso di studio con innumerevoli verifiche ha portato alla ridefinizione con una ricostruzione e nel contempo la rielaborazione per un migliore utilizzo di questi strumenti. Questa modalità oggi si propone come metodo utilissimo.
L’azione terapeutica si ottiene applicando sul corpo le pietre in cotto smaltato; queste, precedentemente scaldate, rilasciano lentamente il loro calore in maniera diversificata, in quanto sulla superficie d’appoggio vi è una spirale in cotto porosa che emana più calore rispetto alla superficie smaltata. A tutto ciò si aggiunge l’azione di oli e profumi (oli essenziali – OE). Infatti su ogni pietra è stata realizzata una cavità conica, appositamente realizzata per contenere e rilasciare gradualmente delle sinergie mediante un forellino.
PETRA MODUS® è un insieme di “elementi funzionali” chiamati “ARTEFATTI” non un Kit di “semplici sassi”.
COME SONO REALIZZATI
Questi artefatti vengono plasmati e modellati manualmente ad uno a uno con l’argilla naturale e, una volta fatti essiccare al sole, vengono sottoposti ad una cottura di oltre 900 ºC, ottenendo così il “biscotto”, cioè il cotto; successivamente, dopo alcuni accorgimenti vengono immersi nello smalto (pigmenti di silice) e nuovamente sottoposti ad una ulteriore cottura di almeno 1.200 °C. Per le peculiarità che tali materiali possiedono, si può affermare che questi artefatti, nel loro utilizzo, si scaldano molto più velocemente e nel contempo si raffreddano decisamente meno velocemente rispetto alle pietre basaltiche, più belli rispetto a quest’ultime, perchè colorati e dal designer originale.

“PETRAMODUS”® è un metodo molto versatile che ben si presta al trattamento del benessere psicofisico, con la possibilità di personalizzarlo di volta in volta a seconda delle esigenze della cliente e delle varie problematiche.
Questo trattamento introduce una visione dell’estetica di tipo “OLISTICO” (dove olistico sta per OLOS, ossia TUTTO-INTERO-INDIVISO-COMPIUTO), che prende cioè in considerazione la persona nella sua completezza di corpo e mente.
Si utilizzano le pietre realizzate in cotto-ceramizzato per lavorare a livello energetico – vibrazionale sui chakra influenzando la sfera psico – emozionale, le anforette per un lavoro diretto su muscoli e connettivo, con i principi funzionali (creme, fanghi, argille), sul metabolismo cellulare.
Può essere utilizzato a sé con un effetto: antistress e riequilibrante – energetico; oppure abbinato a fanghi, argille o altri prodotti specifici per un trattamento più mirato e localizzato per adipe, edema, tonificazione, depurazione, ecc.

INDICAZIONI
Questo trattamento aiuta a sciogliere le tensioni e la rigidità muscolare, a migliorare la mobilità delle articolazioni, ad alleviare la tensione della colonna vertebrale, principale causa di dolori e invalidanti mal di schiena. Attiva localmente il metabolismo migliorando l’ossigenazione dei tessuti e l’eliminazione delle tossine.
Procura inoltre una generale sensazione di benessere e relax .
In generale è indicato in caso di:

Le “anforette” calde rilasciano lentamente il calore al corpo producendo un effetto energetico (del calore) e miorilassante.

L’intero kit è realizzato in ceramica, rigorosamente lavorata a mano da esperti maestri artigiani, le eventuali imperfezioni ne certificano l’originalità e la qualità, facendo si che ogni pezzo sia unico.
Tali manufatti, essendo cavi, permettono di contenere al proprio interno sia acqua calda che ghiaccio, permettendo all’operatore di gestire un beneficio e un salutare massaggio.
La loro forma sferica, leggermente schiacciata, permette una dinamica dolce e sicura. Sfruttando i volumi di tali sfere si effettuerà un massaggio tridimensionale dovuto alla forma, alle dimensioni delle superfici ed al volume delle stesse.
L’ergonomia delle anforette consente, inoltre, un’ottima presa e gestione per praticare un massaggio dolce ma nello stesso tempo molto efficace e all’occorrenza incisivo.

Such an innovative technique comes directly from ancient indo-european civilizations that settled in Messapia, as the modern Salento was known before Rome; ancient cultures that relied on herbal remedies, stones and other artifacts for medicinal purposes, all operating on vibrations induced by negative energies. Such energies, in the form of fire and heat, have always been used for therapeutic purposes and the set of these elements give rise to PETRA MODUS®.
PETRA MODUS® by Marcello Petrucci is the result of a long research on ancient artifacts that allowed wellness techniques for which countless tests led to redefine, re-elaborating proper tools in the context of a better modern use. The therapeutic action brought by this technique is achieved by applying glazed terracotta stones on the human body; such heated gradually stones release their heat in a diversified manner, as on the surface of their porous support there are spirals that give off more heat than enameled surfaces; furthermore, the action of essential oils and perfumes, gradually released through a small hole made on each stone, is added. Petra MODUS ® is therefore not a simple set of stones but rather a set of artifacts made properly functional.
HOW THE STONE ARTIFACTS ARE MADE The PETRA MODUS®
stone artifacts are shaped and molded by hand, piece by piece, with natural clay; once dried by the Sun, they are then subjected to a firing of more than 900° C, thus resulting in the brick. Later, just after some appropriate adjustments, they are dipped in the glaze (silica pigments) and then subjected again to further firing at 1,200 ° C. For some of the peculiarities that these materials possess, the artifacts heat up really fast. At the same time, they cool much more slowly than basalt stones: they are also more beautiful than these, as they are colored and patterned with original designs. MASSAGE WITH STONES IN COOKED AND THE MESSAPIAN AMPHORAS Petra MODUS®
is a versatile method that lends itself well to the treatment of psychological well-being with the ability to personalize it, depending on the needs of the customer. Such an innovative treatment introduces a vision of the aesthetics of type “HOLISTIC” – which derives from the greek “olos” or “whole” – which takes into account the whole person, both in body and mind. The terracotta stones are used to work on an energetic level – on the vibrational chakra influencing psycho – emotional levels; on the other hand, the Messapian amphoras are useful for working directly on muscles and connective tissue, with the functional principles (creams, muds, clays) on cellular metabolism. THE MESSAPIAN AMPHORAS
The entire kit is made of ceramic, rigorously hand-made by expert craftsmen; any imperfections certify the originality and quality, making sure that each piece is unique indeed. Such artifacts, being empty, allow to contain both hot water and ice, allowing the operator to manage a benefit and a healthy massage. Their spherical shape, slightly flattened, allows a gentle and safe dynamic on the body. Exploiting the volumes of these spheres, it then makes a dimensional-massage, due to their shape, dimensions of the surfaces and volumes. The ergonomics of such amphoras also enables excellent grip and handling to practice a gentle massage at the same time very effective and, if necessary, incisive.
